| 背景资料 | LRIG3 (leucine-rich repeats and Ig-like domains-3) is a 140kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein member of the mammalian LRIG glycoprotein family.It shares 46.8% and 54.0% amino acid identity with LRIG1 and LRIG2,respectively,with highest conservation in the extracellular,transmembrane,and membrane-proximal sequences.This gene is mapped to chromosome 12q13.2.LRIG3 may play a role in craniofacial and inner ear morphogenesis during embryonic development.It also may act within the otic vesicle epithelium to control formation of the lateral semicircular canal in the inner ear,possibly by restricting the expression of NTN1. |
